Eclectic Folk and Blues Rock Comes to R.A. Fountain

Landy Spain and friends will present a concert of varied musical styles at R.A. Fountain, General Store and Internet Café, on Friday, February 4.

Spain, a Fountain resident and manager of R.A. Fountain, is a veteran of the Greenville music scene, having performed for many years with the r&b bands Knocked Out & Loaded and Cold Sweat. For the evening's first set, he will be joined by John Benson to perform an eclectic set of folk songs.

The night's second set of blues, blues rock and jazz will feature Spain on electric guitar, Joe Tronto on drums, and James Edwards on bass. Tronto, from Greenville, owned and operated the legendary Greenville nightclub The Attic. He and Spain also used to perform throughout the Greenville area as Jasmine. Edwards, who lives in Grifton, also performs with Timeless.
